Inner packaging's containing liquids must be completely surrounded with a sufficient quantity of absorbent products to absorb the entire liquid contents of the inner packaging's.
The outer packaging is intended to contain inner packaging's of liquids and is not leak proof; a means of containing any liquid contents in the event of leakage must be provided in the form of the absorbent material being placed inside the means of a leak proof liner or plastic bag..

Grade 4 Vermiculite

Description

Mandatory for all shipments of liquids by air when secondary means of closure cannot be done. This Grade A4 extra coarse vermiculite is an excellent and economical solution for shipping samples.

Description

Grade 4Extra-Coarse Vermiculite is a natural asbestos-free absorbent that is ideal for liquid spill cleanups and packaging that could leak. Vermiculite absorbs liquid spills of all kinds and is chemically inert. Vermiculite is an excellent loose absorbent and cushioning material to use in UN packaging, Transport -approved packaging, UN wooden boxes and over pack salvage drums. Naturally occurring, Vermiculite is a mineral and environmentally friendly. Grade 4 Extra-Coarse Vermiculite is the largest grain size available and provides the best cushioning properties. Grade 4 vermiculite is used in all ICC UN 4GV packaging boxes. Extra-Coarse vermiculite comes in a Pallets.
